Thank you, Beachbody! In just three months, you've helped me change my life.

My journey began last fall after a visit to see my 15-year-old daughter in New Jersey. We spent two days in New York City, shopping and sightseeing. It was wonderful. But after those two days my legs, back, feet, and shoulders ached, and when I looked in the mirror I saw what I feared most: I was becoming an old man. It really bothered me.

On the flight back to Tampa I decided to do something about it. I'd seen the Power 90 infomercial on TV, and although I was certainly skeptical, I was also curious. Especially when I saw Tony Horton, who's almost my age (I'm 48 years old), and the tremendous shape he is in. I figured I had nothing to lose by trying—and it was only 90 days—so I said what the heck and ordered the program.

I'm glad I did.

Within 30 days I began to see startling results. I lost 10 pounds and 3 inches off my waist, and you could even see the beginnings of a 6-pack trying to poke its way through. After 60 days my friends were asking me what I was doing, what magic diet I was on. No magic, I told them, it's Beachbody. Finally, 90 days later, my best friend told me I was a "whole new person," and I agreed.

With Power 90, I'd lost 15 pounds and 5-1/2 inches off my waist, and I'd gone from 15% body fat to 10%. I could rip off 50, 60, 70 push-ups, no problem. And I felt tremendous. All it took was Pushing Play every day and working out with Tony to the Power 90 routines, as well as changing my eating habits by following the Power 90 guidelines and Michi's Ladder.

Was it easy? No. But nothing worth having comes easy, does it?

After Power 90 I decided to take my fitness to a new level, so I ordered the P90X program. Again, I'm glad I did. The Kenpo X, Plyometrics, and Yoga X routines are challenging, but the rewards are tremendous. While I didn't need to lose weight, my body composition changed with P90X as I shed fat and added lean muscle. I'm in the absolute best shape of my life, and it shows in the amount of push-ups and pull-ups I can now perform.

However, the real beauty of Power 90 and P90X is not just in the weight I've shed and the inches I've lost. It's also in the remarkable changes I've seen in my overall health and fitness. For the first time in my adult life, my cholesterol levels are normal. And my chronically sore knees now don't bother me at all. In fact, last month I ran in a 5K race and beat every 20- to 24-year-old in the field, something I'm very proud of. I'm running faster than I have in many years, and I'm pain-free.

Now I'm training for a full-scale adventure race—kayaking, mountain biking, and trail running—to be held in North Carolina later this year. Recently I was approached about becoming a personal trainer and fitness model. And next year I'm planning to bicycle from Monterrey, Mexico, to Vancouver, Canada, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of my bike trip up the Atlantic Coast. I feel like I can do anything I set my sights on!

But there's more.

I've also made many new friends through Beachbody. Through the Message Boards and chats I've met some of the most inspiring people you could imagine. And I've even attended two of Tony Horton's fitness camps, where I met other Beachbody members and worked out side-by-side with Tony. It's really changed my life!

And for that, Beachbody, I thank you. Sure, I did the hard work myself, but I couldn't have done it without you!
