2004 Hollywood Trip
In the past I had tried some exercise programs, including jogging and power walking, with no results. In late February I went on a fishing tip to Key West, Florida, which helped my decision to try something different. I was with four friends, age 27 to 40, fishing for four days in shorts and T-shirts, and the questions kept coming: "When are you due? Are you in your eighth month? Is it a boy or a girl?" These questions were directed at my big belly, as seen in my before picture.
Then a few weeks later, while watching the infomercial for Slim in 6, I decided to order the program and give it a try. Getting results quickly, and having a short but efficient program, appealed to me. I was not looking to become a weight lifter or Mr. Universe; my main goal was to lose my belly.
While waiting for Slim in 6 to arrive, my determination was reinforced during a visit to see my parents. I looked at my father and knew that if I did not do something, I would soon look like him—with a bigger belly and all the problems that come with it.
A couple days later, the Slim in 6 program arrived while I was at work. I got a call from my wife asking me, very loudly, why I bought her the program. I explained to her that it was for me, and took a lot of harassment from my coworkers who had overheard my wife on the phone.
I got started the next morning and never looked back. It was not easy, but after the first three days I could see dents in my previously round belly. I did sometimes fall off the wagon, overeating for a day here and there, but with the program I was able to regain my progress in the very next workout or two.
My goal was to lose my belly before turning 40 later this year, and I have done it. I have toned my whole body and lost 23 pounds in just six weeks. I get up in the morning, complete "Burn It Up!", and I feel great all day.
Thanks, Debbie, I could not have done it without your help. Slim in 6 is a great program that everyone should use.
