Rated 5 out of 5 by Helped Me Win The Golden Gloves. First and foremost, I am not affiliated with Beachbody or Tony. This is my honest and actual experience using P90X. On a whim I purchased it in hope that I would gain some muscle and flexibility as I trained for an amateur boxing event. Since I work and go to school, I had to find a way so this is what I did. Followed the classic schedule as outlined for the 90 days in the mornings. 3 evenings per week I would go the the PAL and just do my 3-4 rounds of sparring. With limited time I couldn't do pad or bag work. I would shadow box for 3 minutes as a brief warm-up and then get my sparring in. Followed this for 3 months. I was able to make gains from P90X and I credit this program with my successful victories in the tournament. My main workout was P90X. The boxing sparring was a secondary workout. P90X delivered and delivered big time. The KenpoX workout actually helped my boxing too. Tony Horton was a great trainer and motivator in this DVD series. I have seen some of his others and while good in my opinion P90X is hands down his best work. This is a program that will benefit everyone including athletes. Ten, twenty years from now P90X will be recognized as the best training program ever created on DVD. April 24, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by P90X - My Story I have been using the Tony Horton’s P90X videos for the past three years. I am 49 years old, in August 2015 I was diagnosed with Stage 1 Colon Cancer. In November 2015, as a safety measure, I had laparoscopic surgery to remove part of my large intestine. I continued with the P90X videos right up until my surgery date. After my surgery, the same day, I was up and moving about. I believe that P90X helped me to recover quickly and without too much discomfort. I am happy to say that I am cancer FREE with no further treatments or medications. In February 2016 I started again with the P90X videos. I was a little apprehensive at first re Yoga & Plyometrics but I managed to get through the videos and each week I saw myself improve and getting back to my healthier self. Rated 3 out of 5 by At least it works To be honest, as long as you "show up" and do your workouts, and do them the best you can... you will begin to see results. The nutrition plan is 3/4 of it. If you are not going to eat right... then this is going to take you a long time. Eat right, show up, and at the end of the 90 days you'll see results. I didn't start seeing results until about day 40-45... I hit day 58 and got injured. However, I was pretty happy to get injured. I was so tired of watching Tony Horton. No offence Tony. You don't do half the workouts, you're always checking on "the kids" who have already done this program... what we want to see is a TRAINER GO HARD.. and BRING IT. Its very discouraging and made me want to stop anyways. For that reason.... it would be hard for me to recommend this product over another. I'd give others a chance first. January 30, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Still The Undisputed Champion! Multiple rounds later, and having tried the "others" the original P90X still remains king. This program has given me the best overall results and if I needed more mass I simply adjusted my diet and protein intake and usef heavier resistance. Just as important, P90X was used by me to prepare for Martial Arts competitions and it enabled me to excell. All I did was replace the doubles block by using Martial Arts practice as my second workout and followed the workouts according to plan. This is a lifelong fitness plan. January 20, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by lifestyle Bought P90X in 2009 and have never stopped. Currently on 24th round. I have intertwined a cardio kettlebell extreme into my weekly workout. Always do Ab Ripper. Always do Yoga. Always do Stretch on the seventh day. Take couple weeks off P90X at the end of each round and completely forget about it. I do alternating pull ups and kettlebell for two weeks and then I'm ready to get back to another round of P90X. January 3, 2016

The results are on the way and i've just noticed some changes on my body. I just want to know if anyone here is getting tired very quickly at the plyometrics day, like i do. Everytime i start it, i'm afraid i can't finished it but i do, with a lot of pain but i do... Thank u everybody. Good luck all. November 25, 2015

I have had this program for years. I do it (the whole program) about once a year. I also mix and match the individual workouts with other Beach Body fitness programs I own. November 23, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by None Athletic Person I am a stay at home mom to 3 and have gained weight because of lack of activity. I purchased the P90X and I absolutely love it. I was a tired, insomniac and obese person until I started this program. I was determined to follow this program faithfully. The program is difficult which is a plus. Tony stated in one of the videos that it's ok if you can't do the entire video just push yourself gradually daily until you are able to complete the video. I followed this advice because being in the shape I was in I knew it would be challenging. I can say today that this was worth the money and I am starting my routine again because I did stop. This was my big mistake. However, I am not completely back to where I started being out of shape, but I need to feel great again and this is my Happy. Thank you Tony! November 7, 2015
