    Derm Exclusive is sold in all states, so we must charge a sales tax in every taxable state. This is a legal obligation, and we do not keep the sales tax—100% of it is passed on to the state in which you place your order and receive your shipment.
    Delaware, New Hampshire, Oregon, Montana, and U.S. territories are not taxed. Alaska does not have a state sales tax, but local taxes may apply.
    Additionally, because we are a company that offers products via a shipping service, our warehouse operation is taxed. Therefore, tax is charged both on the product cost and the shipping and handling cost. The tax applied to the product cost is refundable on returns. Canadian residents are charged a 7% GST (Goods and Services Tax) on the subtotal of their orders. This GST is refundable upon return of the order.
