Dear Slim in 6:
I just completed the "Slim in 6" series and I have to say that I am completely thrilled with the results. I considered myself to be in good shape (so I thought) when I started, but boy did I learn that I was not working my muscles. In the past I worked out doing some sort of cardio - either walking, the elliptical machine or stepper for about an hour 5 or 6 times a week and was not getting the results I wanted. I also had a personal trainer from my gym that I met with once a week for a few months and just wasn't seeing results like I wanted. After two weeks using the "Slim in 6" program I was already seeing differences in the places I really wanted -my hips, thighs and arms. I have to admit that I really had to push myself when it came to week 4, but after a few days it was much easier and was worth every minute.
I started on March 23, 2003 at 21.9 of body fat. I'm only 5'4" so my goal was to lose at least 3 of body fat and around 10 pounds. I hit my goal by May 4, 2003. In total I lost 12 pounds, 4.1 body fat and 12 1/2 inches. I couldn't even take my "after" photos wearing the same bathing suit from the "before" pictures because it was falling off, what a great feeling.
I was so unhappy with myself, that I actually was considering plastic surgery. I did go for a consultation with a surgeon for liposuction and the cost drove me right out of that office. I'm so thankful that I didn't opt for surgery, because the results from this program were better (and obviously much safer). The Slim in 6 program gave me such a self-esteem boost - all that I can say is THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for developing this workout - I just ordered the new hardcore "Slim Series" and can't wait until I can start.
I can't thank you enough for helping me get farther with my weight loss and toning goals than I thought possible. I have never had so much fun shopping for new -much smaller clothes before. I'm definitely not perfect, but I feel much better about myself and now have the motivation to keep going with this workout regime.
I am now using "Week Seven and On" until my new Slim Series arrives.
