Dear Beachbody.
I would like to thank Tony, Jon, Carl, and everyone else associated with Power 90 and Beachbody. My 90 day transformation has been amazing. At age 30, I feel and look better than I ever have before. Instead of being embarrassed to take my shirt off at the beach or pool, I'm now comfortable about it.
As a registered nurse, I'm fully aware of the negative health consequences of obesity and inactivity. Yet, I still did not exercise and my waistline continued to get larger year by year. My eating habits were atrocious, I would eat whatever, whenever (many times after midnight), and as much as I could eat.
Every summer for the past 7 years I've told myself, "This is the year I'm getting in shape! " Basically I would never follow through with it. This year was different because of the Power 90! This program works because Beachbody has laid everything out for you. Follow the workout tapes and the diet guidelines and you will succeed. The convenience of an at home workout of about 45 minutes worked great for my schedule initially, I thought working out to a tape wasn't manly enough. But these routines were tough, and kicking my butt at first. Fortunately I stuck with it, and the results were great. After 90 days I lost a total of 25 lbs. and could see some good muscle tone. Body fat percentage decreased from 19% to 11% and I lost a total of 5 inches from the waist.
Thanks to Beachbody I now have a strong, solid fitness foundation to continue building on for life.
