I bought this for my wife for the plyometrics portion of p90x. Wow, what utter garbage. Chunks started coming off after the first use. Three times through the plyometrics disc and it is going to ready for the trash soon. I can't believe this is even marketed as a plyometrics mat for this price. Do not buy this mat for anything other than yoga as you will be horribly dissapointed.

I have a bad knee and when doing P90x or Insanity the repeated pounding my knee takes has put me out of commission more than once in the past. I bought this mat in hopes that it would absorb some of the impact and alleviate the stress on my knee. I have to say that I have been using this mat for over 6 months and my knee hasn't acted up once. I am thoroughly happy with this mat and I would recommend it to anyone who has knee issues and wants to do beachbody programs. All that being said, the mat isn't very good for yoga. Just like others have said it gets quite slippery the sweatier I get, so I use a different mat on yoga day.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Scalpel 1 Very Durable Mat!!!
Purchased this mat a few years ago and love it!!! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is becuse it is a little slippry when you start to sweat, but I remedy that with vibram five fingers. It is extrememlydurable. I'm in the military and I do take it with me on deployments (last one being i n Egupt for 3 years) and no matter how much I beat, I haven't been able to break it. I'm about to order another cause mine got lost along with the boxed I shipped on from Egypt : (

This mat is very durable. It doesn't fall apart at all. It is slippery when my hands are sweaty though. Also, while jumping and jogging on it during the Insanity workouts, it tends to rotate (I have mine over carpet). But, I still like it as it absorbs the shock to my joints which was more important to me. I'll deal with other issues.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Chaela I bought this mat to use during my p90x program. It seems very durable, it doesn't fall apart when you wear tennis shoes. The only thing I was disappointed in was that my hands slide on the mat when they are sweaty, such as during yoga. Which makes the moves hard when you can't stay grounded. However, this problem can be fixed by buying a pair of gloves. All in all I would recommend this mat.

Rated 0 out of 5 by Scott Cummings I love this mat. It does a great job of reducing the impacts of my workouts, and, i feel because of this, it keeps me in the game longer and for more intensity. VERY well woth the money.
