I had to put in my opinion since there are quite a few negative comments about this program. I use Les Mills Pump as instructed 3 days a week in addition to p90X3 (on yoga, pilates, MMX or "rest") days. The initial thoughts I have are that it may be repetitive and a little boring, so I added more weight...yeah...thats NOT boring. You do have to push yourself beyond your limits if you are lifting weights. If you go light, yes, its boring...the ab routine is not very challenging and may be for a beginner but I use it with the other routines and not on a separate day. I think overall it is a good program if you use it in addition to another program or if you want to include some weights into your workout routine. I would not consider this program as a "stand alone" program that you would use as your only workout program. I am very happy with the results (I'm in week 3) with visible changes in my arms and legs and I feel the difference in strength in my back.

I am 59 years old. This is my first time ever using weights. I love that there are clear safe instructions on how to do each session. I am definitely feeling the workouts. Looking forward to increasing my weight over the next 2 months.

As an avid lifter and runner, Les Mills great when you want to hit a little bit of everything. Some of the weight selections are too light to show results (deadlifts for example) and the back is not targeted enough in this program, in my opinion. Otherwise, I love doing pump and would recommend it to someone new to lifting weights.
Also, reading the description of this program I am a little disappointed. Heavy weights don't make you bulky! Lighter weights such as in this prepare you better for endurance. I'm disappointed that was in the description because it's truly just used as a marketing tool. The creators of Les Mills Pump and Beach Body are educated fitness professionals and should not add to this false information.

I Love all the Beachbody work outs. LMP is really helping me tone up which was my next step to staying fit. I'm addicted to it cant get enough and would recommend everyone try it

I think Les Mills pump program is fantastic. Increased my strength, shaped my body and I lost weight doing it. I would love to see another version to do.

I pretty much made up my mind that I'm done paying for a gym membership. I really love the quality & challenge of the Beachbody workouts, but to be honest, I LOVED Body Pump classes when I was a member of a gym. When I saw the workouts on Beachbody, I got them to add some variety to the workouts I currently own (P90X, P90X2). The workouts are great! They remind me of the workouts from the gym, the instructors in the video's are very motivating, the music keeps the tempo up so you aren't bored while working out! I would most definitely recommend to anyone who wants a little variety.
With that in mind, I also have to note that people who are REALLY in shape will find the first week workouts a bit on the short side & to make them challenging, you have to load up on the weights. I recommend that people still do those workouts to get a feel of the form & the equipment. In the last two months, the workouts get to the length & intensity of the gym workouts. Also, the diet plan is a little bit lame, talk about carb loading. While I followed the program, I noticed that my weight didn't go up or down .... but it didn't give me a lean look either. There are a LOT of carbs on the diet. So, I basically followed the P90X guide for carbs, protein, etc.
Overall, I would definitely recommend these workouts! I just hope they come out with a Les Mills Pump - Advanced!

I was an addict of the Body Pump classes when I lived in an area that offered them. Unfortunately, when I moved, there was nowhere in my area that offered them. Needless to say, I was ecstatic to see a home based program now available, but the weight plates included are not the same that are used in the classes or that they use on the videos. I can't fit my hand through the 2 holes provided (the correct weight plates have 3 holes) to be able to do the hand held exercises, which are a big part of the program. So now I have to either try to find weight plates that will work and absorb the cost or return the full program. SO disappointed!!!

This program is the most effective I have tried. I wish they made a full year program! I love the results it gave me but, as with any program, you need to change it up or you will stall in your progress. The program is good for three months and it changes up the routine every month-which is exactly what it should. The trainers are fun, motivating, and clear in their instructions. The music is energizing. And the program itself is designed to give you results. It is definitely for those who enjoy lifting weights (any intensity). If you love spending time sculpting your body at the gym, this is for you. But it’s even better because it combines the sculpting with cardio since it is fast paced. I love the famous dance programs. They are also energizing and fun and I lose weight fast with them. However, I’ve noticed on photos that my face toned after Les Mills Pump but not with the dance workouts (regardless of weight loss). Les Mills Pump helps you to burn fat and build muscle. The rep effect is transformational. Another thing, I also did a butt lift work out two years ago and I toned wonderfully, but it made me loose too much hip. I certainly did not want to look flat. Les Mills Pump got rid of the bad and brought the hidden good out. Best program yet. Note: The only reason why I stated my results as 4 star is that I work a lot and go to school and did not have the time to do each work-out. I skipped many of the abs and stretch work-outs. I only did the "main sessions." Still, I was very happy with the results! Recommendation: For those high achievers, if the weights that come with the program are not enough for you, order more weights online. There are many places where you can get inexpensive ones. And remember, KIA KAHA! Be strong.

The only reason my rating isn’t even lower is because I never actually made it to the workout yet. But to pay the kind of money I paid for this package and receive equipment that is of such poor quality is outrageous.
The safety clips will not stay on and the weights are not even close to being secured on the barbells. I had to call customer service and they are supposedly sending out a new set of safety clips.
Beachbody is one of the leading names in fitness. I really expected more from them.
