Rated 5 out of 5 by etherial If I Can Do It, You Can, Too! ...and I'm 58!
I found this by accident while looking for a different workout to add to my collection and purchased it. At first, it was sooo intimidating that I thought I wouldn't be able to do it, but I persevered and 3 weeks later am keeping up the them and feel so energized afterward. I do it so far, 3x a week, but as time passes will add another day.
I'm also doing the 6 week body makeover eating plan and taking a good multivitamin. I'm 58 years old, a grandmother, just graduated from culinary school with honors in restaurant management, and I'm looking for ward to continuing to be healthy and be able to fulfill my new career as a professional cook. Working in a kitchen is fun, but takes a lot of stamina.
Thank you Beachbody & Shaun T! I love it!

I am of the P90X school and wanted something fun to boost my cardio experience while also focusing on my ab flab that I still want to blame on the birth of my son (2 years ago ;) ). I came across this DVD and assumed that it would be a fun way to do cardio and abs rather than my tredmill and P90X. Unfortunately, you know what they say about assuming. The music on this video is terrible. The workout moves are far from "Dancing", or at least any dancing I've ever done. I stopped the DVD 10 minutes in, sucked it up and got on my treadmill. P90x while miserable, gets results fast. I turn up my own music of choice and push through. I thought "dancing" would be a fun way to break up a few days of my workout. The music is terrible, the moves are elementary aerobercizes from 1988 workout tapes, and I was bored in 10 minutes. At least with p90x, I'm not bored. On my death bed, but not bored.I would rather do 15 minutes on my treadmill followed by 16 minutes of P90x ab H-e-double hockey sticks that does produce amazing results quite quickly, than listen to 35 minutes of awful music with horrible aerob-ercise moves that I doubt would produce results in a millennium of time. Sorry, Shaun T, I'm sure your Insanity program is great, but your hip-hop abs is terrible.

I first ordered Hip Hop Abs from the infomercial but I wanted something harder. I always do Cardio Groove from that series. So I looked to see if there was something else and I found this DVD. I'm glad I did because it is a lot more challenging but it's still fun. The music is good as well. I would say it's a mix between Insanity (because you have the push-ups and have to hit the floor) and the Hip Hop Abs set. I'm seeing results after a week. I wish they would do more videos.

This is a awesome workout for my future "bikini abs". The music is Hip Hop at its best, I actually recognize the music beats. I'm sweating like crazy while dancing, Being a graduate of Insanity, I enjoy Hip Hop Abs Extreme the best because I don't feel like I am beating my body up! Wish it was advertised more, found it by accident online...

This is definitely a level 3 HHA. I have a long way to go in my fitness but I was able to complete the Extreme Cardio with a 5m break halfway through. It isn't too hard to keep going, just as with all Shaun T's workouts you do what you can and keep going and break when you have to. There isn't anything I don't love about HHA! And this is a challenge!! Thank you Shaun T for HHA!!

Absolutely loved every minute of this workout. Not one minute was wasted with down time and it is a total sweat fest and your core is truly getting worked and even some arm work is included. The time flew by, because there was no dread factor at all and the music was good, too. This should be more widely advertised, because I just happened to come across this one when I was online. Loved it and hope that Shaun T makes more with this intensity. This is definitely a segue into Insanity. Thanks, Shaun T :)

HHA Extreme is a great workout for intermediate to advanced exercisers. I've completed Insanity and Asylum and this HHA workout does not disappoint. You'll be sweating like an Insanity/Asylum workout but it does not have as much of the high impact moves, which is a plus!
