The bands work good, the handles are bad quality, having to order the 3rd set of handles now... Ugly!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by cooter I feel they are good when first starting out. But I soon figured out they don't work very well with some of the routines. So i just decided to go to the local fitness store and buy a d-bell set!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Tom I haven't had a problem
I see several negative reviews of these handles, but I own three pairs and have not had a problem with any of them. I have used them almost every day for the past two months, with bands of varying resistance and different types of exercises, and they have held up well. I can honestly say I haven't had any of the problems that other users are describing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by VLP Bands good, handles BAD
Just echoing what's in here. For small bands the handles are probably fine but when you get to the bigger bands the handles won't last long before they begin to crack, crumble, and disintegrate on you. I would look elsewhere if your going to be using the heavier bands.

Rated 1 out of 5 by JS plastic tube handle core cracks/shatters
I am paying for yet another pair of replacement handles. The plastic tube inside the foam handle begins to crack and then crumbles. I've got 15 years in manufacturing and something like this would have been addressed by now. No problems with the band itself. I don't see these bands being used by the crew in the videos- what gives?

1st band broken in 2 weeks, next one in 3 weeks from time of purchase. They are so bad the "cast" doesn't even use them in the P90X videos. They are all using a different version which looks more durable. Also, these handles actually hurt your wrist / lower forearm when using as those areas make contact with the handles on most moves. DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!

Rated 1 out of 5 by bmbsqd They Don't Hold Up
I had my bands for about a week before the first handle broke under the foam. By the end of the first month all four were broken under the foam. Now I just hold the bands at the knot and it works fine. I would recommend the bands but not the handles at all.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Mongoose Very Poor Quality
Just wondering how long it's gonna take BB.com to have their supplier make heavier plastic tubes so this problem is a thing of the past????? Does'nt make sense to me, but what do I know? I know that they are aware of the problem because a representative replied to one of the reviews. And if they use the bands, they HAVE to be experiencing the same problems. Whatever. Like the one guy said, it's a good thing they are cheap.

Rated 1 out of 5 by P90x Girl breaks very easily
after having mine for about 2 months they started to break...i would assume that since they know what the workout is like they would make bands that are able to withstand the exercises for the workout...

by NOLA-man They are great bands, but poor handles
I have been using the b-lines from the P90X program. I like the bands better than others that I have tried because they don't collapse, and they offer steady resistance through out the set. Other bands tend to loose resistance as they stretch out through the set. The handles are another story. The handle break at the edges (heavy pants on the green band in my case), and the connector is somewhat a problem through some exercises.
