Copywriter, Team Beachbody™
The Copywriter will work directly with the Senior Communications Manager and Marketing Director for Team Beachbody to write copy for Web, email, print, and video materials. This position will also interface with other key players from the Beachbody® team.
Responsibilities
- Write marketing, training, and communications copy for Web, print, and video
- Produce copy for company messaging, marketing and training tools, video and print scripting, and incentive/promotional communications for customers and Coaches
- Write easy-to-understand copy to describe complicated concepts
- Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness; look for ways to improve and promote quality
- Partner closely with Quality Assurance to ensure quality in all delivered work
- Assist the team with writing support and respond to requests in a fast and concise manner
- Display original thinking and creativity; generate suggestions for improving work flow
- Meet and strive to exceed productivity standards
- Monitor work to ensure quality and deadline completion
Snapshot of the Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university (preferably in creative writing or similar field); or at least two years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Previous multilevel marketing (MLM) experience preferred
- Must be punctual and have excellent attendance (ensuring work responsibilities are covered when absent) to deliver on commitments
- High level of professionalism and responsibility for own actions
- Must be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment and view changes as opportunities
- Ability to write creatively in English and identify/correct grammatical or stylistic issues in Web, print, and video copy
- Must react well under pressure
- Ability to speak effectively one-on-one or in a group
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
